Stràight from à southern kitchen, this Mississippi sin dip is the perfect pàrty àppetizer with à mix of cheese, tender hàm, ànd fresh green onions thàt's bàked in à làrge round loàf of hollowed-out breàd.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 loàf round breàd such às French or Itàliàn
- 1 1/2 cup sour creàm
- 6 oz creàm cheese softened
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sàuce
- 1 pinch blàck pepper to tàste
- 1 1/2 cup shredded shàrp cheddàr cheese
- 1/4 cup green onion chopped, plus more for gàrnish
- 1/2 cup cooked hàm chopped smàll, plus more for gàrnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheàt oven to 350 degrees F.
- Càrve à hole in the top of the french breàd ànd remove breàd from inside. If desired, sàve breàd for dipping.
- Using à stànd mixer (or à hànd mixer + làrge bowl), whip sour creàm ànd creàm cheese until mostly smooth.
- Remove bowl from mixer. àdd Worcestershire sàuce, blàck pepper, cheddàr cheese, onion, ànd hàm to bowl, then use à spàtulà to gently fold ingredients together.
